If you are an eSewa user and don’t have a smartphone right now, don’t worry. eSewa offers an SMS syntax feature that allows you to perform various transactions through SMS. With this feature, you can pay bills, top up mobile balance, check balance, pay TV bills, make ISP payments, change your MPIN, and view recent transactions.
- Mobile Registration If you are new to eSewa, you can register by sending a text message. To register in eSewa, type
REG
in your message and send it to 32121. You will receive an SMS from eSewa (32121) containing your eSewa login ID (your mobile number), online login password, and a 4-digit MPIN (Mobile Personal Identification Number). Note: If you are already an eSewa customer, you can add your mobile number to your account by logging in to eSewa using a web device. - Balance Inquiry To inquire about the balance of your registered eSewa account, type
<MPIN><space>BAL
and send it to 32121. Example: 1234 BAL - Change MPIN eSewa users receive a 4-digit system-generated MPIN after successful registration. It’s recommended to change this MPIN for easier recall. To change your MPIN, type
<Current MPIN><space>CPIN<space><New MPIN>
and send it to 32121. Example: 1234 CPIN 4321 Note: Keep your MPIN secret. If you forget it or lose your phone, contact eSewa customer care immediately. - Recharge Cards eSewa users can buy Nepal Telecom CDMA, GSM prepaid recharge cards, and DishHome recharge cards. To buy a recharge card, type
